Juan had amazing ideas for his novel. The trouble was, the sheer size of theproject overwhelmed him. Where to start ... what portions to include ... how to sequence them. He had no idea how to even begin.
Then he was inspired: one piece at a time. He wrote the introductory scene, followed by several with action, and suddenly writing seemed manageable. He pieced together the sections, and eventually had a solid framework for his story. The thought was satisfying, after his numerous early struggles with writing.
“I can do this,” Juan thought, smiling. “This novel is going to be great.”
