Somehow, Alice’s cat had stowed away. Alice, of course, denied any knowledge of how the cat had smuggled itself into her luggage along with 12 cans of its favorite food and all its best toys.
But it seemed unfair. So a faction, led by Danny the ex-parking attendant, advocated the cat’s extermination. This didn’t worry the cat much. By his computation, he still had at least 7.5 lives remaining.
