A frenzied effort by the Chinese to hack through to the servers was followed by the Russians whose attempt was valiantly thwarted by cyber-security.
“What,” gasped the editor, “the CIA too?”
The head of cyber security touched the peak of her cap respectfully.
“Yes, sir. Chatter indicates the FBI is going to make an attempt as well. They are concerned about forthcoming leaks regarding the President.”
The editor rolled his eyes. “Oh really? Don’t they know what Friday Flash Fiction is all about? The clue is in the name. It’s FICTION.”
